

With the 5179, when I ran the Dell diagnostics yesterday, the audio also failed to play there. The tablet portions don't get detached often, so it's not like it's happening because of that. Sometimes it seems to happen after a Windows Update reboot, but other times it just happens with no cause that I can pin down.

Įverything will work fine for weeks and suddenly there's no audio. One is a 5179 and the other is a 7350 (so both detachable tablet models), both running Windows. I have two Dell Latitudes that randomly lose their audio.
