Not really faster If your entering the Overboss's quarters from the outside lift, the doors to the next room with the workbenches you mention are blue for Folks further along are stating you can only use it if you complete the DLC story. (It of course also allows you to make repairs and upgrades.) If you put junk in the tool chest or trunk you have to do it one item at a time, transfer what you need over to the power armor station, etc.Alternatively, you can go outside, drop into the map and find the icon to fast travel back to the Commonwealth and your settlement and do everything you want from there. So that is the easiest place to dump all your junk in one click. That said, I noted that the power armor station gives you an option to 'transfer all junk'. That is when I realized the workbenches and storage chests aren't linked like they would be in a settlement. I knew I had tons of (s)crap but it said I was missing items. The unlinked workbenches in the Overboss quarters threw me for a loop when I went to repair my power armor.
